As you know That few weeks ago Human Resource & Development Ministry decided to conduct NEET exam through CBT mode twice in a year from 2019 onwards. But now as per the latest information, it is unlikely to conduct NEET/JEE through computer based test.
As per the latest development, various reason given by states against computer based test . Some of the reasons mentioned below.
1. Class 12th Board Exam Schedule :: As per the rules , NTA would conduct exam in February and May. Typically, Class 12 students also appear in the Board exams during February-March period. This would suggest a continuous period of 4-5 months of exams for the students and may add to the pressure on students,”.
2. Question Bank :: The National Testing Agency would have to maintain a large question bank to cater to the proposed pattern of exam.
3. Rural Candidates Disadvantage :: As per the letter , rural & poor candidates gets disadvantage , while attempting online or computer based questions.
There are 8 reasons mentioned in the letter, why it should not possible to conduct NEET through NTA.
The news is still not 100% confirmed, but what is think it is more likely. Go through the NEET related news daily basis to be updated regarding the same.
